You know it's hot outside when you take a photo of your layout and it's so washed out that you have to adjust the colors of the photo in PS!!!

OMG I love the punched scalloped circles and the chevron.  great pick Resa and love your layout also (my favorite color combo)!

i cut scallops and lined them up about 7 times before I got them straight and even. lol!! my scallop punch is 1 1/2 inches. I would have liked to have a smaller one for this like in the example.

Ok, here is my lame attempt.
 I used some 2003 Anna Griffin papers that I bot  marked down class kits in 04/05.  I also just got this Martha Stewart punch last week at Michaels, but disappointed that the scallops aren't more pronounced, but I think it will make good flowers anyway.
I couldn't find that one chevron tutorial so I used another, they were easy but not as "measured" - does that make sense?
Anyway, it was a pita, and I screwed it up at the last minute, but it was fun, and I think it matched this "colorful outfit" she had on.

Thanks yep I had a whole day to scrap my DGC are at the other grandmas this week so my DH did my errands and I got to scrap hopefully tomarrow also
