Rolling Scrap Bag
« on: April 06, 2014, 05:24:19 pm »
Now this isn't technically a tool, but it is certainly important if you like to take your "scrap crap" as my mr. affectionally calls my supplies on the road to crops and such. I am in the market for some kind of large sturdy tote on wheels. If any of you have any thoughts on this I would appreciate it as I am shopping now and it is hard to tell online. If you have a bag like this please give me your thoughts pros and cons for what you have. Thanks!!

I am willing to invest some money as if it is a good one I know I will use it for many years to come.

Love to help, however, I have avoided  crops until recent times and I have some old milk crates that I throw stuff in and take with me. I try to kit stuff up ahead of time which helps and it also helps to have a scrapping buddy that brings everything but the kitchen sink and shares. LOL!

I can relate Lynn. I have a love hate relationship with crops. I do have generous friends that I go with and we do all share but I always feel more comfortable when I can just pick through my stuff at home. I try to plan ahead with page kits. Sometimes that works well for me if I can be organized enough to do it lol. I was thinking if I had a nice organized bag for crops it would be easier for me to feel more love for scrapping on the go.

I have a P3 that I use for paper. Love it! I have a crop n style xxl that I love and had to quit using because it wouldn't fit in the little car that I drive! My daughter and her ma in law have  creative memories totes and love them. Have fun shopping.
Happy Scrappn!!

I am trying to resist the urge to just buy a bag. I us to use a creative memories bag and had a paper tote and would put everything on a luggage carrier. My luggage carrier died a few months ago and that is when I started thinking of just buying a rolling tote and my friend gave me this adorable accordion paper holder to sit on a table that fits in a bag I can put on top with a few of my photo boxes.
Whe I finally decide I will post a picture if the whole organized set up.

One of the bags I was considering is the crop in style XXL. I just am not sure I would use all the organizers they way they are set up. I don't bring a ton of pens and scissors I have a small organizer that I use for that stuff that fits in a bag.

I want to spend more time scrapping and less time worrying about how to get my stuff in and out.

All the stuff that goes in that bag can be taken out. I use a lot of it for storage on the craft table. Those little zipper bags are great for stickles, embossing powders, chalking supplies, decorative scissors etc. And if I need to take them, they are already packed!

Phyllis now you have my hand hovering over the add to cart button on Amazon lol.

I really should get off this board and get to work so I can get out of here and go home and scrap this afternoon.

I've got one of these. I like it because if i have odd shaped stuff, it will all fit in there. It's a left over from my days as a teacher. I do carry an over the shoulder bag as well that I loop onto the handle once I arrive. Also, when it is not in use...
